Pryor Creek, as
it was called, was incorporated in 1951. As years went by, the city was most
often referred to as Pryor.

| In 1963, because of
historical significance, the community decided not to drop the
word "creek" from the city's name. |
While "Pryor Creek" remains the official name, most residents
refer to the community simply as Pryor.
You'll find museums, attractions, events, festivals and water
activities. Pryor is a growing community with many dreams and
opportunities.
